Organic food with U-pas?
Kanaleneilanders try organic food and give their opinion
On Friday morning, July 12, 2024, dozens of visitors to Bij Bosshardt at Marco Pololaan 10 gave their opinion about packaging-free nuts and other products that they had bought from the Loos Utrecht cart. Various people contributed ideas about opportunities to ensure that local residents with a small budget can buy organic, sustainable and healthy food more often. An original question was whether part of the credit on the U-pas could be used for organic food. In the coming period, we will find out whether this is possible and if so, how.
We also handed out 41 new vouchers for Loos Utrecht and 16 for the Horeca of Utrecht Natuurlijk. Especially grandparents wanted them, to be able to treat their grandchildren when they went to the petting zoo on Eilandsteede. Others planned to use it to buy honey. On 2 August, we will be handing out vouchers for the last time with which visitors to Bij Bosshardt can try out organic food, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
