Daniella Mires introduces herself: Hello! My name is Daniella and I’m currently a university student in University College Utrecht majoring in Earth Environment and Law, but I am interested in natural science overall. I am from Lima, Perú and I have been involved in sustainability since school until today. I had an environmental club I founded in High School, and now I am chair of our university Ecological Committee. Here in Duurzaam Utrecht 2030 I am interning and leading projects such as insulation on campus (which is paired with a heating campaign) and I helped create a mobility guide for Utrecht residents. I am passionate about raising environmental consciousness as it is an issue present in my mind, my drive is to make as much change as possible. With Duurzaam Utrecht 2030, creating local impact has been a great experience, specially with the many opportunities available with out partnering organizations.

Hello! My name is Noor Ul Ain. In September 2024, I graduated with a Master’s in Food Systems Innovation from Aeres UAS in Almere. I did a Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition, where my interest in climate change first took root. During my internships, I saw firsthand how environmental issues, like climate change and unsustainable practices, contribute to health challenges. This experience sparked a strong commitment to addressing these systemic issues. I carried out my master's thesis at Duurzaam Utrecht 2030. Since my graduation, I am leading the research into Organic food on a tight budget at Kanaleneiland as a freelance researcher at Duurzaam Utrecht 2030. On Friday afternoon, November 29, 2024, I will present the results and recommendations during the workshop Organic food on a tight budget that we are organizing together with Event Management students from the Utrecht University of Applied Sciences.

My name is Ineke Malsch and I am in the middle of the picture. I am the coordinator and one of the initiators of Duurzaam Utrecht 2030 in 2021. I graduated in physics and have a PhD in philosophy on the subject of ethics and nanotechnology. I work as an independent consultant in (inter)national projects and am regularly hired as an ethical expert by organizations.
