Duurzaam Utrecht 2030
Our mission is to allow Utrecht residents with little money to participate according to their own insights in Sustainable and climate-neutral Utrecht for 2030, in consultation and collaboration with the municipality of Utrecht and other governments, social organizations, educational institutions, companies and fellow citizens. The 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations are central to this, from combating poverty to combating climate change.
Our vision is: We will only achieve Sustainable and climate-neutral Utrecht in 2030 if all citizens and organizations participate in their own way and if we take everyone's wishes and possibilities into account. In 'Balance caring for the earth and each other,' you can read more about this vision. The original Dutch version of this article was published in WIJS, the magazine of the Ecumenical Janskerkgemeente Utrecht, on 20 April 2023.
